Join us for a special Mother’s Day workshop in collaboration with Milkweed Clay Studio—a thoughtful pairing of handcrafted ceramics and organically grown, seasonal flowers.

Set within the warm, creative atmosphere of the studio, this hands-on experience invites you to slow down, work with your hands, and create something quietly beautiful.

The Experience

Guests will begin by selecting a handcrafted ceramic vase from Milkweed Clay Studio’s collection, each piece uniquely made and yours to take home.

From there, you’ll move into a curated flower bar by us, Black Haus Blooms, featuring fresh, locally grown blooms harvested at peak beauty from our farm in Earlysville and additionally from our flower farming friends within our growing collective, CVA Flowers.

You’ll be guided through the process of building your own arrangement using a seasonal selection of focal flowers, soft fillers, and natural textural elements. No prior experience is needed—this workshop is designed to feel relaxed, intuitive, and creatively engaging.

A range of arrangement sizes will be available, allowing you to create something simple and delicate or full and abundant. Each arrangement is designed in a handcrafted ceramic vase and reflects the natural beauty of the season.

• Petite Arrangement and Vase — $44
  A simple, charming design composed of 5 curated stems — a delicate mix of focal blooms and airy accents.

• Signature Arrangement and Vase — $75
  A light, airy design composed of 9 curated stems — including focal blooms, seasonal fillers, and soft, textural accents that bring movement and dimension.
  Designed to feel refined, delicate, and effortlessly beautiful.

• Luxe Arrangement and Vase — $100
  A generous, abundant design composed of 15 curated stems — rich in focal blooms, layered textures, and flowing accents.
  Designed to feel elevated, expressive, and gift-worthy.

Event Flow
