Black Haus Blooms (BHB) is a small, woman-owned and operated flower farm & floral designer. Established in 2019 in a backyard garden with a big dream to scale, BHB now operates on 2.3 aces and continues providing arrangements and pressed cards to the Charlottesville, Virginia area. BHB organically grows flowers, lovingly arranges with over 30 varieties of blooms, and delivers right to your doorstep!

I have always been passionate about nature and gardening, but flowers have held a very special place in my heart every moment in my life. My flower-growing passion guided me to create a small operation in 2019. I experimented with growing and harvesting all sorts of annuals and perennials around the fenceline of my awfully hilly and tiny backyard of 6,098 sq ft. It wasn’t until 2020, that I fell deeper in love with the idea of flower farming after harvesting a bouquet of blooms for a friend who was going through a troubling time. Seeing her face and spirit light up over a wimpy glass jar of whatever I had in bloom was a monumental moment in further pursuing my big dream at a larger scale. I started volunteering for a local farmer for hands-on mentoring and the experience, read every single flower farming and floral arranging book there is, enrolled in online workshops and classes, and endlessly scrolled social media and YouTube for tips and tricks. Now here I am a few years later, operating on 2.3 acres with more blooms than I know what to do with. I truly love everything about this operation, and I am beyond ecstatic to be able to share it with you!
